Just on record

Museveni never sold Rwanda to IMF he sold Uganda. If he sold Rwanda and its
economic policies were fucked up by IMF we would have had every right to
call him an idiot. When Ugandans including Ssabassajja Mutebi hands over the
state of Uganda to a Rwandese, and he decides to sell it to the IMF it is
Ugandans that are idiots.

Let us praise Museveni for what he truly is. A very shrewd man surviving on
Uganda fuckups.

The IMF only got one idiot in the whole world (Museveni)
to agree to all their mad Millennium Goals experiments

Because they were unpalatable, the IMF/WB and 'others'
had to make M7 a powerful dictator in order to drive thru'
their stupid and frankly insane experiments,of making
the Uganda govt devolve all its essential services, like

education, health, agriculture, road and transport, expecting

investors to take over the country and the economy.

It is unfortunate that most Ugandans including
educated ones living in Uganda, have NO IDEA about what
exactly happened to the economy and what it means.

Until Ugandans wherever they are, begin to understand what M7, WB/IMF
and 'others' have done to the Uganda economic structure, there
is no way they would even begin to understand what needs to be
done to rectify the mess M7 has created.

In the process of understanding what M7 did and HOW he did it,

they will then understand the dangers of a unitary govt which
gives absolute power to a single idiot to ruin a whole country.

It will then be time to talk about a Uganda,
as for now - its a waste of time.

Happy New Year

Eric,

The request for a modest increase of 46 % in the borrowing facility, is
within norms for a vibrant regime like M7s. The shortfall in poverty
reduction was very modest, minimal at best, hence the requested amount will
be spent on roads and other infrastructure, remember for him, he has his oil
money.

Economic growth in Uganda is necessary but not sufficient to reduce poverty
through job creation, improving nutrition, quality education and healthcare,
providing housing, protect the environment and respect human rights. There
is a paradigm shift from economic growth and trickle down to integration of
economic growth, social inclusion, environmental protection and observance
of human rights. IMF should adopt this approach as well.
