Among those invited was a young couple from northern Uganda-the lady is an
Acholi while the hubby is a langi(hello Mulindwa Edward), and they had just
got back from Uganda.

With all due respect sir I do not pick facts from the air, what The Acholis
did to Langis is real and very pain full. Secondly you need to realize that
when you are discussing Uganda issues you have to know that we have some
generational differences, and as parents we have seen several here, for
example Moslem families in our community have a current problem of their
children dating non Moslems, does your age do it? No you do not and you go
all way to state that this lady want to date a man who is a Moslem yet the
children you have really do not care that much. You cannot stand up today to
state that non-Muslims date Moslems no problem when you know of the
generational differences. We need to seriously understand the tragedy
Acholis did to other tribes in The North and respect it for it includes many
that never made it, than sitting in London and brush off such a tragedy for
you know a single kid that married an Acholi. Calmly talk to the people from
Northern Uganda and ask tehm about Moyo Ombachi Arua and several other
places to get educated to a point of addressing such delivate issue
publicly.

You used that senile reasoning in Luwero a very reason Mulago hospital is a
current tragedy in Uganda.

John,
I think the whole health system in Uganda is "dead"! Last weekend it was my
younger daughter's 4th birthday party. So, we invited a few friends around
from Uganda for dinner to celebrate with us. Among those invited was a
young couple from northern Uganda-the lady is an Acholi while the hubby is a
langi(hello Mulindwa Edward), and they had just got back from Uganda.

As we were deep in our conversations later on after some bit of dancing on
Uganda music, the lady told us of their experience in Uganda when their
daughter fell sick and they had to go to a nearby hospital. The doctor
prescribed the same antibiotics to the kid even after a duration of 7 days
without any improvement. The kid's health was deteriorating and they were
flooding all these questions to the doctor who seemed not to know what he
was doing. They were very confused and angry at the same time!

To cut the whole story short, they decided to consult another doctor who is
working for one of the big private hospitals in Kampala. He changed the
course of treatment and the child got better before they came back to
England. But the wife has sworn never to take her kids back to Uganda before
they are atleast in their late teens. She just hates everything called
Uganda now, and that's how she ended up arguing with me almost the whole
evening..........I was defending my "rotten" Uganda since we had some
Bazungu around for company.

So, I think now you understand why Museveni himself wouldn't trust our
doctors with his daughters. He would rather send them to Germany to treat
even something as simple as pimples than subjecting them to the same rotten
system he presides over! I want to call him selfish because he is the
president and therefore supposed to sort everything out, but he is a parent
first before anything else. What do you think? Hope I'm not sounding like
Andrew Mwenda now!

Abbey, does it matter? He goes to Europe and America to get his flu

Now these are the real biological substances, and not the ones Dr Kipenji
was talking about.
