There are those that were children who are explain about, but there is
another age we need to include. The people that were adults in Luwero at
that time, the age of my parents and Sam Njuba age. These were the adults t
a time and who are senior citizens today in Luwero. They were equally
traumatized. There are people that spent literary months sleeping in forests
and saw many very terrible things that are in Luwero.
These people concern me great deal as I am really concerned about the WBKs
attitude of every one must suck it up.

Haji Katerregga Mawanda Musazi,
The children of the NRA terrorists are double victims. They grew up without
parental love and care. Some of them, like Sam Njuba's daugter, were
sexually abused by fellow NRA activists like Mahogany Bukenya. But they are
also victims of the wider suffering that the terrorists have imposed on the
whole of Uganda. They are living witnesses to the innocent blood that is
shed daily. Their trauma is made worse when they see the luxurious
lifestyles, the corruption and decadence and conspicous consumption that
epitomises the lifestyles of criminals like Museveni who sends his daughter
to a German hospital to give birth, and others like Mababazi and Salim Saleh
who sleep with mattresses filled with dollar notes and take baths in
champaigne filled tubs, yet they are wallowing in hunger and desperate
deprivation. They ask themselves why their parents sacrificed their lives,
to remove a humane and caring government and to replace it with one of
occupation and thuggery.

Folks;
This serialisation named "Children of Revolutionaries" is an eye-opener.
Last week, we read about the daughter of Getrude and Sam Njuba; today, the
Daily Monitor presents a traumatizing recollection of the daughter of Sam
Magara, the second commander of the NRA.
At the end of this series, we should be able to form a reasonable picture of
the pain and unresolved traumas that these familes experienced and still
undergo, and why addressing those issues might be the start of redeeming
Uganda itself.
