I have made that very same statement since 1984/5, the problem that made
Museveni to become who he is was that all along you and many Ugandans failed to
listen to me. But now that we are where we are in 2014 and you have made this
turn around this late, I fear that you are still not going the entire way. The
Movement was not only built on a wrong foundation but what it will leave for us
in the country is going to remain with us till when our entire generation dies
out. Let no man lie to you that we will be in position to clean up the Movement
damage after it leaves power for cleaning up this damage is going to be
generational.
My family flew out of Entebbe at the end of last week and the very first thing
they told me when they saw me at Lester B. Pearson international was “We are
done with Uganda” And they have so many stories to tell, man you sit with them
and you simply drop off to sleep, but I will summarize into two things. {a}
The mother of the kids wondered why Mayanja Nkangi has been a leader of Uganda
land commission, and Getrude Njuba has been a State House Director on land
matters for a very long time, why are all land selling decisions in Uganda made
by Rwandese? That really bothered her mind for she wonders whether those land
sales will hold if Museveni leaves power tomorrow. She continues that Uganda is
going to fall into a massive civil war that is never debatable, but the people
that buy lands in Uganda are going to be killed before Museveni crosses Busia.
There is such animosity to those buying the lands from Rwandese because they
are selling land when they are not Ugandans. Land is going to cause a
catastrophe in Uganda. Lastly, if you are a Westerner, it does not matter if
you are a Munyankole a Mukiga a Mutooro or anywhere from Western Uganda, you
are a Rwandese and they will come after you and your property. May God be with
all Westerners after Museveni’s departure. Rwandese have taken over all jobs in
Uganda from running huge businesses as trade to running small businesses like
selling tomatoes on streets. They have started the very terrible habit of
selling food like Tomatoes on ground which we saw a great deal in Rwanda
before, she wonders why Ugandans have agreed to lower our standards to such.
And lastly due to poor sanitation in the country, many people suspect to have
worms in their bodies, and it is a habit of medical professionals to ask
patients of whether they have been de-wormed. The Uganda medical situation is
that pathetic in 2014.
And {b} Kale Kayihura, my son really wanted me to ask if you can organize a
convoy for him to sit in and he cruises through the city as the population runs
off the streets as small chickens. He really loved to sit in those cars and he
wants to know what course one takes to qualify for such position. He will
gladly take it.
Next Christmas they are heading to The Dominican Republic they are done with
the Bee Hive.

Bwana Mulindwa Edward,
I seriously have no comments, but, this movement was built on a wrong
foundation.

Discussing anything good about a Movementists is like going into a pile of
grass and look for a place where the Dog did not poo. That is why some of us
wonder when you or any other Ugandan hold faith into Samson Mande, Mugisha
Muntonyera, Dr Kiiza Besigye, Olara Otunnu, Betty Kamya, Getrude Njuba let
alone Tinyefunza. These people are who they are for they are killers. Period.
What we need to really do is understand the damage NRA/NRM has done into our
country and we understand that damage in both short and long sectors. Then we
turn around to repair it but erasing the entire Movement out of Uganda
politics. I must opine as well that if you are a Muganda, due to ChakamuChaka
that was done in Uganda, you must be regarded trained and armed until when you
disprove the fact. That must be the very first approach by the new government.
That very same status must be installed on all Acholis. Let us remember very
well that there are more weapons outside Uganda government than inside, so
there is no single way to do this in any clean manner than regarding all
Baganda and Acholis as trained and armed. Then we can move from that point to
find a way of deworming this country.

"At that time, there was Chief of Combat and Operations (CCM) and this was Brig
Joram Mugume, who later became the deputy army commander. If there was to be
any operation, it had to be sanctioned by the CCM. So, my father called Gen
Muntu and told him that about 40 soldiers armed to the teeth, had surrounded
his home. It was 8pm. My father tried to make a few frantic calls to Gen Muntu.
But Gen Muntu said he was not aware of any operation. He referred my father to
Brig Mugume but Brig Mugume said he was also not aware of any operation to
arrest my father. But my father insisted that Brig Mugume orders the soldiers
to leave his home. But the soldiers were not withdrawn.
My father rang Gen Muntu again and Muntu said: “You mean they are still there?”
My father said: “yes, they are still here”. He was becoming desperate. He then
called a very close friend of his – the one I said I will not mention - who
told him that those soldiers were going to kill him and he advised him to run
away. He also told him he was not safe anywhere in the country until the
President comes back."

The case
Prosecution led by Richard Zziwa alleged that on January 6, 1990, the commander
of the Lubiri-based 301 Brigade, Lt. Col. James Kazini, deployed three officers
and 40 men to arrest Kashillingi. Kashillingi, who was the NRA director of
records, was wanted after his office caught fire under unclear circumstances.
Prosecution contended that the arresting officers and men pitched camp at
Kashillingi’s residence on Acacia Avenue in Kololo, Kampala, from 5:00am to
12:00pm. The claimed that Chihandae, 35, obstructed them from arresting
Kashillingi, which was an act of treason.
Lt. Edward Kacumitana, who led the operation, told the Court Martial that he
besieged Kashillingi’s residence with a force of two other officers (Lt.
Paddy Zebikire and 2nd Lt. Kyeyune) and 40 men at dawn on January 6, 1990. "
So mugisha muntu knew something but denied any knowledge of it...
