Akim Odong
You do not know Canada, I agree with you but you pick it up and use it as a
defense to your nonsense. There are many times I have read in this very
forum of how I enjoy the democratic principles in this country when we have
Federalism yet I detest Federalism for Uganda. That is what Im shooting
back at. Many of you do not know the state Canada had before the BNA
{British North American} act. And no one told you that in that Canada we had
people classifying themselves as biological substances. So if you are to
sell Federalism based on Canadian democracy teach us how it saved Canada
from its demise. And you cannot for they are both very defend countries with
very different situations. Even if you remove the federal government from
this country today we will not attack Quebec for we are not savages, yet
you are.
Akim Odong few days ago Uganda destroyed a massive weaponry for it had
expired. Have you ever manufactured so much medication and it expired?
Chalk? Fertilizers? Bitumastic to repair roads? What else do you manufacture
in Uganda to a point of having expired ones than bombs? And dont pull the
crap of Museveni is manufacturing them not our selves. No you all as
Ugandans including yours truly, are actually manufacturing those weapons.
And why? Because as a Ugandan in diaspora I never knew that Uganda as a
state is this pumped up with weaponry. I am in information but that never
crossed my mind. Some body in Uganda failed to see it as a danger to inform
me or to make public in UAH, and among those that failed to know that Uganda
is spending too much money in manufacturing weapons, that they end up not
even needing was Olara Otunnu, Dr Kiiza Besigye, Mugisha Muntu, Norbert Mao
and the Kabaka crap. All of you as people opposing Museveni failed to stand
up and state this tragedy and very publicly.
Yes Mulago hospital is screwed but why dont you move money from weaponry to
health? That would have been the argument of an intelligent Olara Otunu.
Nope you all sat quite that to today I have no statistics of how many bombs
Museveni has in storage and how much he has invested into them so I cannot
go after him. You rather get this very poor Muhororo old man called Besigye
on a firkin pick up of Police, photograph him and you sit in UAH farting how
Uganda is un democratic. No go home sit down and calculate what the
government spends in weaponry make the figures public and we all stand up
and scream about it. That is what firkin opposition does. Geez !!!!!! You
are not doing your job and now Museveni has caught me with my pants down for
you are preaching the federalism hype.
And hype so it is.

Mr Mulindwa;
I do not reside in Canada and i will not pretend to know how the elections
are done by what party. What i do know is that Gwokto praised the regional
representation and its efficiency.
The numbers always tell the untold story let us be very careful with Akim
Odong s Federalism hype.
Mulindwa this statement is misleading considering the fact that we i have
repeatedly wrote that our federalism will not be based on Canadian but it
will be based on Uganda; tailored to fit. So its inherently wrong that you
should resort to propaganda to confuse people using a system in Canada that
is not delivering according to you.

Yes it is true Gwokto wrote that piece , which by the way Akim Odong quotes
without dating, but if he had the audacity to date the time Gwokto posted
this writing one would realize that those were the very good days of The
Block. And here is where the numbers tell the story that Odong will never
reveal to you. In the General election of 1997, the province of Quebec had
and still has 75 constituencies, the Block won 44 seats, The Liberal party
won 26, The Democrats or NDP won no seat in Quebec and The Conservatives won
5 seats to Ottawa. In 2011 elections, the Block won 4 seats, The liberals
won 7 seats, The Democrats or NDP won 59 seats and the Conservatives won
again 5 seats to Ottawa.
When you follow the trend in Quebec elections you realize that the very good
old days of the Block has dwindled to its expiration, for when you stand up
today to use The Block as a party that defends the interests of Quebec in
Ottawa, and you have been narrowed from 44 seats to 4 you are actually on a
death bed, and I would not use The Block as a very indication of how
separatism works. Come next election some of us are watching this party
closely for The Liberals have done a very good job to get those seats and if
Justine does well as we expect him to do come next election, The block might
actually be wiped out of parliament. I am challenging Gwokto to repeat this
writing in 2013 trust me he will not for the writing was wrong then as it is
wrong today. And why was it a wrong statement? Because The block was
actually built on hot air and its death was very eminent which Gwokto failed
to see at a time.
The numbers always tell the untold story let us be very careful with Akim
Odong s Federalism hype.

Tracing people's past does reveal a few things. Reading Gwokto's archive,
reveals that he was a formidable writer and thinker, way before he turned to
vulgarity. Whatever has gone wrong? Delving further, i came across this,
written by a sober Gwokto. I have
come to believe that formidable regional parties are more effective in
meeting the
interests of its people than a divided national party as is the case with
Canada's Bloc
Québécois (BC) - nearly a third of Canada's parliamentarians committed to
Quebec
and always getting what they want for their region. Any national party can
pull BQ to
its side because it has the numbers required to tilt the boat. Not a single
item
passes in parliament without the support of the Bloc. which i recognise,
because this what i have been saying all along. Gwokto seem to have lost his
vision and drive, because this is what Uganda needs.
Gwokto go back to your old self, i don't think you have reached your limit
yet, what i do know is that you have let "baboon" frustration take the
better of you. In you, i see a federalist, a thinker and a writer. Your
archive at least points to it. Stamina and temerity and the secret of
Budhist monks, you must master it.
