If you follow The Ottawa politics you should know that the Federal Liberal
party is holding a convention in Montreal. Be informed that few minutes ago
they have just voted in Favour of a couple of things including legalizing
assisted suicide. It is not clear yet if Justin Trudeau will run with the
idea for he was not in the convention when this vote took place, as he was
watching the kids in Sochi at another section of the hotel. But it is
important to note that during his major speech in the very same convention,
Justin said and I quote "to expand our idea of what it means to be a free
citizen in a modern democracy" and "to reflect on giving terminally
afflicted Canadians the choice to end their pain and suffering and plan
their own death with dignity," End of quote.
There might be a communication at the closing of the convention, so we might
get a more clarification on what this means, but that is the path we seem to
be going take in the campaign.
