We are updating again
Reports indicate that anywhere from 8 to 15 people have been injured,
although that has not been confirmed. We are getting reports as well that
the shooter is dead from a self-inflicted wound. The base was the scene of a
mass shooting in 2009. Thirteen people were killed and more than 30 wounded
in what was the deadliest attack on a domestic military installation in
history.

Texas Police is stating that it is in a state of responding to reports of an
active shooter at the Fort Hood Military base. Fort Hood has ordered
everyone at the base to ``shelter in place.'' The base was the scene of a
mass shooting in 2009.

There is a shooting in Fort Hood Texas. The military post is on lockdown and
all personnel have been told to seek shelter. There are early reports of
multiple injuries. The shooter is still on the loose.
