Ugandans
Again in these very trying times these are the matters that make me pound my
head on a God damn wall. You see when you raise an issue of a man like Konny
and his existence yet no one seem to put a finger on what you re arguing,
you end up pounding your head on a wall. I stand to recognize Museveni as a
very shrewd man for he not only stood and created the Konny Character but he
sold it worldwide to a point that today as I write this piece even President
Obama has been sucked right into this character. On record there was a man
called Konny that tried to create an insurgency in the North, he was beaten
off and he ended. What transpired from there to today is a mere character
used by everyone to make money. I have stood with argument past now 10
years, it started by being denied it went on to chasing me out of public
forums , it made me a laughing joke in UAH for EM is stupid for he claims
Konny does not exist, and yet today even Washington its self is involved
into using that very same character. And I am not going to bore you this
Sunday morning with a lot of explanation but Im going to only ask a very
simple question, why did Ugandans especially Northerners buy into this
Konny-gimmick?
When you try to search for information about Konny he is reported to have 88
wives by last count in 2007, by the last count that was done in 2006 he had
42 children. He has caused at least 2 million people to be camped when no
one has ever seen him, we have never seen his vehicles for he only walks on
foot, but manage to beat off UPDF a national force that has thrown several
governments out of power in Great Lakes. When all that is said and done,
there is no Northerner that has ever stood up and said that this place this
village this parish is impassable for Konny controls it. So get this, Konny
has beaten UPDF to fail it defend the people to camping it but he has never
controlled a square inch in The north. All atrocities committed in the North
were being committed by UPDF. I have sent Emails over and over to those in
The north I have called many in the political spectrum and I have talked to
UPDF officers. I have talked to as low a Northerner as a Bodaboda operator
but I have talked to a Northerner as high as Norbert Mao about the existence
of Konny. They all came back with very vague tells that you would not put a
finger at. When you go back to the Sudan peace talks sham, it is interesting
that every Ugandan that went to Sudan in those talks they all made one
uniform thing, when they came back they stopped to be productive in Uganda
forums. And all of them. What happened in that sham?
To those in Toronto there is an Acholi reverend that shows up on TVO CBC
CFTO {These are television stations} appealing for money to help those in
camps due to Konny. Last summer he was raising funds to get tractors and
fertilizers for those in camps due to Konny. And this summer he is about to
pop up again on your screen. And a question comes to you today, do you know
any farm in The north used by Northerners in camps using tractors? And with
time I am going to hunt down one of his tapes and probably post it here. So
you have an Acholi a Reverend lying to people to get money for his people
are in camps. A Uganda paper reported that an Acholi woman was arrested for
she had girls in a bus ferrying them to be sold in Kampala to work as baby
sitters, so you have an Acholi woman stealing Acholi kids to be sold for
personal gain. So the people themselves the politicians themselves Ugandans
from the North themselves, allowed Museveni to use their own people so that
they get money and that is what I posted few days ago. Konny is the only man
that allows me to go tribalistic, what The Acholis did to their people can
never be done by Baganda. I dont see a president camping the people of
Luwero and we keep quiet about it because we are making money out of those
camps. We would have gone ballistic public let alone postal and you would
have released them. And it is true yes UPDF raped them, but Northerners
themselves also raped their own people. When men like Norbert Mao that are
expected to replace Museveni with better government also connive in keeping
quiet about what exactly happened in the North you start to realize how it
will be tough to clean up after Museveni.
