I have asked a single question to these Uganda politicians, including Akim
Odong, what are the policies you are selling to us to buy your agenda. And I
continue to get no response. I am starting a campaign in this province for an
election of 12th June, but every campaign officer has a policy of his party.
Federalism is limited to Ugandans will be allowed to run their own affairs,
that vaguely. Few days ago I decided to pin Akim Odong on their education
policy, I asked that simple policy for two straight weeks, until when I got the
best answer out of him, we have not written it yet. Does his party have a
single political policy written? The answer is no he is preaching federalism as
vague as A B Kibuuka and as WBK have sold it for ion years. Federalists UPC DP
FDC all have turned The removal of Museveni into a political policy. In the
same way Betty Kamya has turned the unemployment of youths into a political
policy, well many are trying to go to diaspora what if I organise a way to
scoop money out of them? And that is the politics of a party that wants to be
in power and replace Museveni. Because Uganda parties do not run on policies
that is why they are able to ask everyone to launch one candidate. Like what is
that? Can I agree to work with The Conservatives here let alone the new
Democrats? Heck no I am a Liberal and our policies are day and night.
Why does uniting work in Uganda? Because it moves you closer to eating from
the state.

EM, the Honourable Member even goes ahead to distance this politics of
patronage (our people/youth/members) from politics! This is as political as it
gets since it employs stupid to fix stupid as an answer to the growing youth
employment problem.
One of these days parents are going to rebel and demand their money's worth
from a uselessly expensive education that yields no results!

TOO MUCH POLITICS !!!
Yes you are right, that even those with no sense that politics should position
Responsibility, Relevancy and sacrifice (the totality of Obuntu) call
themselves politicians!!
If its true that BK is doing this and commends this I share the approach as
long as the criteria of eligibility is not partisan in nature.
And I hope that this would not be used as a means to the end but an end in
itself.
The youth have missed out on this attribute of humanity to do good for others
even if you don't belong or share those "plastic" views/attributes of toy the
same political line.
This needs to be a subject matter to be introduced to schools or institutions
of higher learning and at work places.
New ways of working:
Lets ditch the cheap talk of "Patriotism" and instead promote the sense of
"living for others".
