Back on this amber alert if you are following them. Calgary police said
today that Douglas Garland, 54, was charged with first-degree murder in the
deaths of Alvin and Kathryn Liknes, and second-degree murder in the death of
five-year-old Nathan O'Brien. Now this has created two problems, {a} As you
know this amber alert was posted way back on June 30th, to today July 15th
these old people with their grandchild are nowhere to be seen, but Police
today has charged a 54 year old with murder of the three. These people are
not anywhere to be seen but we dont have the corpses either, so police has
decided to file a charge of first degree with no dead people at hand. {b}
What does this charge mean? Does it mean that Police know for sure these
people are dead? If so why is the amber alert still up? Well in normal
circumstances if an amber alert is set up we are told that the individual
looked for is dead so the amber is down, but this one we have a charge of
first degree yet the amber is still up as by 5 minutes ago when I checked my
screen. And Police is not talking.
This is strange as they ever show up.

For some very unexplained reason, this amber alert is still up and running
to today, these two grandparents with their grandchild have been missing
since June 30 2014 to today July 6th 2014 and no one has heard a God damn
word about them. Amber alerts are set up to raise the fear of a child in
danger publicly to all security agencies and all forums and all people, yet
to today, Sunday, there is no one that has heard from these oldies let alone
the grand child they are holding. It is the longest Amber Alert I have
watched from since this service was set up, they are raised and people are
found because someone has seen them or they fear to hide for everyone is
looking for them and they pop up somehow. These grandparents are not
anywhere to be seen.
One wonders what they decided to do with their lives and the life of this
kid.
