When Palestinians decided to do it the right way through negotiations, they
lost Jericho, Jerusalem, Golan Heights and so on. When they do it the wrong
way they lose Gaza. I do not think this discussion is still limited to
Palestinians doing it the right or the wrong way, I think it is at a point
we need to realize that what Israel wants is the elimination of the state of
Palestine, for they need all that land to be their territory. I find it very
complicated when we argue that Hamas is wrong to send rockets but find no
second to question Israel why it holds the parts it took, why it is building
settlements, why it is importing all Jews from all over the world to fill
the parts it has forcefully taken from Palestine, and why it has failed to
respect all UN resolutions directed to it. OJ The UN has set up more than 70
resolutions towards Israel and she has ignored all of them. In case you

Hamas is not interested in peace but wants to keep on being a pain and thorn
in the homeland without being militarily effective. The more their own
people die in the process, the more they feel they are being effective
because it breeds more suicide bombers for the next round each time the
so-called peace talks fail. Israel does not turn its citizens into lambs to
be sacrificed the way Hamas does. It was Golder Meir who said "Never Ever
Again", meaning the Jewish people are resolute in protecting their citizens
after what happened to them in Nazi Germany. That they have declared will
never happen again to the Jewish people.
The Palestinians indeed deserve their own land, but they are going about it
the wrong way and they are doing it at the wrong time too.
The whole world after all, is in turmoil; from Russia and Ukraine, to Israel
and Gaza, to Libya and South Sudan, leave alone the in-between ones, Congo,
Somalia, Nigeria (Boko Haram), Syria etc.
All this is happening at a time when the homely old adage attributed to US
President Theodore Roosevelt that goes: "speak softly and carry a big stick
and you will go far" is no longer in existence.
There is no single power left today that can buck and the world listens, not
even the UN has any teeth left. America has been without an effective
Foreign Policy for the last six years.
In the case of Gaza, Hamas will have to realize one thing that even the Arab
world that once cheered its action against Israel is quiet and the new
regime in Egypt is silently celebrating for Hamas is part of the Moslem
Brotherhood that it wants driven into the Suez Canal. The Israelis are
doing it on their behalf. The more the ceasefires collapse the merrier it is
for the land of pyramids.

fire ended this morning. There is accusation and counter accusation from
both side, but we know that Hamas rockets have flown into Israel and we know
that F18s have been dispatched to re-bomb Gaza. Israel has instructed its
