Air Canada announced this morning it will charge $25 for a first checked bag
on domestic flights. The airline made the change just days after WestJet
took similar action on Monday. The change will apply to anyone purchasing
Air Canada's cheapest economy fare and take effect on or after November 2nd.
WestJet, Porter, and Air Canada now all charge for the first checked bag on
North American flights.
This is breaking news.
