Thanks for yours, but what you'd credited to CUE was actually said by Chika
Onyeani of the African Suntimes e-newspaper.
However, CUE said the following in a different post:

I do not agree with the above suggestion of accommodation. There should be no
compromise. The ICC is a Kangaroo court, plain and simple. I do not know why
Kenya is not considering withdrawal from that court which was created to get
rid of African leaders who do not bow down to the dictates of neocolonialists.
Unfortunately, African leaders were arm-twisted to be signatory to its creation
while its creators are not members. Why is the United States that bankrolls the
court not signatory? Why is the court not trying Assad of Syria and Benjamin
Netanyahu of Israel for their own crimes?

On September 5, 2014, the International Criminals Court(ICC) announced that it
was postponing indefinitely the trial of Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatta.
Yesterday, the same ICC announced that it was requiring Kenyatta to appear in
the Hague on October 8. I don’t know what type of a message that the ICC is
trying to send. Mr. Kenyatta is the President of a country – he cannot just
drop everything that is happening in Kenya to appear at the Hague, especially
given the confusion that the ICC has been giving out.
This is the type of shenanigans that the ICC has been exhibiting on African
leaders that has the led to the unfortunate passage of an immunity clause
absolving African leaders of crimes against humanity while in office. The ICC
needs to be serious about not using its office dictatorially but working with
Kenyatta to come up with an agreed time for him to appear in the Hague.
