This training actually took off on October 6, 2014 in Aniston, Al. USA. When we
have important information like this, my suggestion is that we should not
personalize it to make it look as if the only way to get involved would be to
pass through us. This ad has been on www for far more than the three weeks that
you announced it here and the way you are presenting may not be the best. I
hope you do not take this out of context.
However, I do not know how much help this would do at the time but let me
provide 3 URLs from the Center for Disease Control (CDC) that might help those
interested if at all it's not late. This training is open for all health
professionals and NGO's worldwide. However, it will take up to 90 days to
process applications from international participants. I hope the program is
still on-going and that applications are still accepted at this time.
Application forms can be downloaded in links 1 or 2 below.
Furthermore, a Travel Grant page was made available to potential participants
for the training in the amount of $500.00 each for US residents and $1000.00
each for residents of other countries.
NB: The International Society for Infectious Disease (ISID) is responsible for

About three weeks ago, I announced here, the unfolding of the safety training
of the Ebola virus by the CDC. I also said, then, that I and the Etongwe B.
Johnson Memorial Foundation, Inc. were going to facilitate the training of
healthcare professionals from Cameroon in one of the training sessions.
Last week Thursday, I received an email from the training Administrators
stressing that the CDC Ebola Safety training was preferentially intended as a
response to the West Africa Ebola outbreak; and the training was therefore
directed at individuals and groups that would immediately go to the affected
region to contain t he outbreak.
Our objective was "preparedness". As such we were assigned low priority for the
training.
The attachment is a copy of the CDC Training Registration screening form.
Anyone or group interested can copy it, provide the required information and
return the form to the CDC for evaluation.
Finally, I wish to thank Sango Herbert Boh and Nyango Aggie Elangwe (all the
way from Paris, France) for their spontaneous offer of support and assistance
to the cause.
