Simon Okurut

What you are explaining is exactly what some of us have been trying to drive
home for many and many years. Uganda has had only one government since 1962.
There was a change that was only limited between 1971 to 1979 but the all along
leaders started in 1962 to today. And we are failing to jump out of it. The
reason some of us go after the Ocen Nekyon The Gwoktos and company is not
because we hate them as a people, but they made decisions and supported past
governments that have failed. You cannot send Edward Pojim to build a new
Uganda government for he can never question Museveni his actions, because they
both agreed to attack Iddi Amin’s government they both agreed to support
Tanzania forces to attack our county. So at what part of life did Edward Pojim
split up with Museveni to which he will start to investigate Museveni? When
Museveni was massacring Moslems in Lake Katwe he was The hero of Pojim, why was
he a killer when he started to murder Acholi’s in The North? At what point did
Samson Mande fall out with Museveni? When he was still commanding in The North
or after? Can Dr Kiiza Besigye investigate Paul Kagame when one was a commander
of the other at a certain point? When does Olara Otunu or even Paul Kawanga
Ssemogerere start to investigate Museveni? While under Obote one government
under Obote two under Tito Okello or when they all three sat in Nairobi peace
talks and agreed on how to un democratically throw out an elected government?
We need a new government in Uganda which must start with investigating the past
and throwing the country into a commission of inquiry, here is the catch 22, if
you put Abbey Ssemuwemba into state house as a new leader, he cannot
investigate Museveni’s atrocities because when Museveni was killing us as
Luwerorians Ssemuwemba was clapping The death of our people was justified. Now
do you realize why I keep on pounding a point at home that politics is never a
profession and you must walk in and walk out?

The problem we have in Uganda is that the population see Tinyefunza and hopes
for a change, they see Nadduli, they hope for change, they see Nina Mbabazi and
hope for a change, they see Muntonyera and hope for a change, they see Dr Kiiza
Besigye and hope for a change, they see Norbert Mao and hope for a change, they
see Nina Mbabazi and hope for a change. They are rotating inside that very same
click that has been ruling us from 1962 to today, that same list that was
posted over the weekend with 80% deceased’s. They are sadly hampering at the
20% left that are either already or soon becoming senile. Simon the only
solution we have at hand is praying God that death speeds its action in Uganda
to wipe all of them out or I again stand up and call for a civil war to help us
jump this very revolving door.

On record Ghana did not move forward till when Flt Lt Jerry Rawlings gathered
all nonsense and blew its head off. No I am not being callous I am stating hard
cruel facts sir.

Edward Mulindwa,

It will be risky as it will expose all those involved. Remember, he was a
FRONASA mole in SRB; so whatever he did, he received orders from Dar; so do you
think he can be prosecuted without exposing the syndicate? Again, remember how
police and court have failed to charge Olara Otunu over the allegations against
Museveni? For your information, Otunu is not too important to be charged in
courts of law, his survival so far is because if they risk to produce him in
court, he will table his evidence, who knows how true it is, so if they make
that mistake, the dirt that is accumulating somewhere will become public
fodder. What does the police and court do in Otunu's case, you know it, they
keep postponing his case and sooner than later, he will be "forgiven" in the
name of unity of the country.

I doubt if the intelligent members of NRM will sue Amama Mbabazi over his SRB
involvement. Sorry, you will not get chance to know his Acholi friends you
claim to have murdered Ugandans during Amin's time. You might have to use other
means to get their names; if you were in Uganda, you could go to Kapeka or
Masulita to consult one native doctor there, he used to make accurate
predictions for the bandits, he can tell you. First, I have to cross check if
he is still alive.

But you are right about getting to know those killers however, but it might
have to wait as I doubt whether Amama will be of help now.

Incidentally, we should thank Amama Mbabazi for that bold decision to resign
finally, you know how Ugandans hate to resign? So, when people resign, we
should thank them for adopting such a good policy and we should not scare those
who resign with taking them to court for their crimes; it is such fear that
keeps people overstaying in power/office especially if they committed crimes
against humanity, they pray that they die in power/office just to avoid your
type of humiliation, so do not scare those intending to resign. How I wish the
Chairman could follow suit!

Peter Simon
