Thank you for your input one can as well add that what we need in Uganda is
actually not more doctors but medical assistants and an up graded public health
care education system in the country. We have done this way back in Obote one
government and it has truly wonders, but these days we have a situation of Dan
Bwanika’s that come out of Sweden and wonder why we cannot have an organized
Commune in Nakaseke.

Our country needs some very serious prayers.

Mr. Bwanika,

Uganda has never lacked Doctors or medical personnel, and the current state of
our Health system has nothing to do with immigration.

Analyze our health system from another angle and you will find the real issues.

Give citizenship to Medical Doctors, professors from the UK, USA and see how
many will folk into Uganda. You also promote tourism with relatives follwoing
suit.

The trade off can be combined with Government action to build houses, and
capacity in given medical fields like; brain, heart, kidney, facial surgery
that can commercially raise incomes for the medical profession.

Hospitals near key learning institutions should be turned into medical schools
under government management.

Young Ugandan medical personnel will always want to make a few more dollars, as
soon as they are out of medical schools. My own experience from other countries
show that medical workers are in scarcity as it is with University professors.

What do you do?

Allow immigration, there are too many; Asians, Europeans and Americans
professionals who would like to settle in sunny and food rich Uganda. This
trade off is exactly what most Nordic countries using – theirs moving to USA
while, older and environment loving foreigners folk in.

This method should be applied in other sectors too especially with professors
in key professionals like; nano technology, railway construction, engineering
etc.

Isn’t this what make USA great?
