For the sake of clarification before I write, I am a member of The Liberal
party and I am pushing for the Liberal party in Ottawa to lead this country
come next election 2015. Now that we have clarified the situation, I need us
to look closely at the situation we have in Ottawa today. There are many
unknown facts in this situation, we do not know what the accusations are, was
it bullying we do not know, was it sexual harassment we simply do not know. But
we know that two MPs who we now know belong to The National New Democrat Party
which is her Majesty’s official opposition in Ottawa found out that they could
not do their job properly due to the way they were treated by these two MPs.
They informed their party leader and they also informed the party leader of The
Liberal party. Because they have not involved the police of Ottawa yet, one can
jump on a conclusion that these allegations happened inside the parliament
building, you see if they happen inside the parliament building they are not a
Police matter but they are matters that are forwarded to the speaker who
decides if the police must be called in or not. It is un-known water territory
but we think he is going to call for an all-party committee which will
investigate what happened and a decision will be made based on the results of
that investigation.

I need you to look at the speed they have been handled and that is the point I
am trying to put across. The leader of the party got this information last
week, he used the time between then and now to communicate with the claiming
MPs and his MPs and by yesterday he had suspended them straight out. Now they
are not fired let us understand this, they are out of caucus but still sitting
MPs and they will sit as independents to represent their constituencies. If the
investigations end and they’re cleared, they will come back and serve normally.
Why was the suspension important? Because you need an independent investigation
to take place, but most importantly you need to protect the party. Yes you are
an MP and yes you were elected, but the party is of a more value than you, we
can replace you, seriously if these MPs fail to be cleared, they will be thrown
out and we will win those constituencies again probably, so they can fight
their war but the Liberal party must be protected from them until then. Most of
our problems in Africa governments is that we protect politicians before we
protect the party. The mid election that happened in The states are a true
example of our weakness, I saw friends going through the mud to protect Obama
than to protect the Democrat party. It has to be the other way around, you are
going to have the party 50 years from today, Obama is a passed man and come
2016 he is going to be out. Your alliance must always be to the party for
people change and party’s remain. Uganda People Congress has died as a party
for the membership protected Olara Otunnu than the party. Watch Justin Trudeau

Yahoo Canada News/Yahoo Canada News - Liberal MPs Massimo Pacetti (left) and
Scott Andrews have been suspended from caucus over allegations of sexual
harassment.

* Liberal Leader Justin Trudeau is suspending ethics critic Scott
Andrews and Quebec MP Massimo Pacetti from the party's caucus after two New
Democrat MPs alleged they were harassed.

Trudeau was informed last week of allegations against the MPs, according to a
letter distributed by party whip Judy Foote. The party referred the allegations
to House Speaker Andrew Scheer for an independent investigation.

Both MPs deny the allegations, but have been suspended pending resolution.

The letter refers to the allegations being about "personal misconduct."

Foote writes she met on Oct. 29 with the whip of the caucus to which the two
party members belonged, the day after Trudeau was made aware of the
allegations. CBC News has learned the two MPs in question are NDP members.

One of the MPs alleging misconduct approached Trudeau directly, she writes.

Foote says she met with the MPs making the allegations on Oct. 30, and has
spoken separately with Andrews and Pacetti.

"To my knowledge, there is no precedent or established process for dealing with
a situation such as this," she wrote. "The House of Commons has a process for
administration employees to address allegations of misconduct in the workplace,
but there is no established process for complaints between members."

The Liberal Party is asking Scheer to refer the matter to the Board of Internal
Economy, a committee of MPs from all parties.

Andrews was first elected as the MP for the Newfoundland riding of Avalon in
2008. Pacetti has represented the Quebec riding of Saint-Leonard—Saint-Michel
since 2002.
