But you are late, some of us have been attacked and created so many enemies for
we stated that Museveni and NRA are a disaster for Uganda. You fade into Acholi
violence to buy a rant crap showing up today in our face. Why do you think it
is imperative for us to post the Acholi violence series? May be at a certain
point, you will wake up and make educated moves. And I am going to state this
very slowly, had we not gone after this ratchet of Iddi Amin is a kijambiya,
had we only picked up on the good things he did for our country but built on
them, may be this country would have been better than today. May be we would
not have become the victims we so are today to be led by Rwandese. l am so
tired with reasoning after the eggs are no longer in the basket. I spent almost
ten years hampered in these forums for I was stating that Museveni and NRA are
terrible. And do you know who was my worst enemy on line? Dr Kiiza Besigye for
he had this fixation that NRA is the best for Uganda. Right now I am being
attacked for stating that Acholi are violent people, and my best enemy is Allan
Barigye for he believes that Acholi are as normal as the rest of us in Uganda
society, a believe I detest. May be the problem is with Ugandans that cannot
see through clouds. Now watch this time around Acholi show up they are going to
cut Baganda men stomachs to find out exactly how sperms are created. The coming
back of Acholi that is very eminent in our country, should scare the very crap
out of you as a Ugandan especially if you are in Uganda.
And I have warned about so many issues in our country that have true to respect
that statement.

So,L/cpl Patrick Otto did not make the cut or was he just like Gen Sejusa just
passed.
Intriguing to note that somebody serves for 35 years only to be retired as a
Captain when
one blue eyed boyhas not even served for 20 years and is already a General
meaning he
will retire as a Field Marshal.
Interesting times in Uganda indeed.

600 Soldiers Retired, Urged to Remain Apolitical
Retired officers bid farewell
By: Kenneth Kazibwe
The former Deputy Force commander of the AMISON Maj. Gen. Geoffrey Muheesi has
warned UPDF retired officers against being manipulated by self-seekers in a bid
to antagonize government work and progress.
Maj. Gen. Muheesi made the remarks while representing the Chief of Defense
Forces Gen. Katumba Wamala at a function to retire more than 600 soldiers on
Friday afternoon at a function held at the Land Forces Headquarters in Bombo.
Maj.Gen Muheesi (R) speaks to one of the retired officers.
“You might be targeted and lured by individuals to launch into political
projects that are aimed at disrupting government. This will put you into the
harm’s way and tarnish the army that you have served diligently for many
years,” Maj. Gen Muheesi warned the retired soldiers on Friday.

“You must always jealously defend peace in the country even after you have left
the army and fight the rebellious like you fought Itongwa, Kony and Lakwena.
Always resist the ill-intentioned.”

Muheesi also asked the retired officers to keep themselves fit and healthy by
doing exercises which would help they live a longer life.
“You have always fought for the country and your life is an important asset to
all of us,” Muheesi said.
The Camp commandant Bombo General Headquarters Brig. Hussein Adda warned the
retired officers of the ‘vultures’ eagerly lurking for their hard earned money
and urged them to avoid being tricked.

“Don’t allow them touch even a shilling of your money because you have toiled
for it. Don’t engage in anything silly; we don’t want to hear that you have
been conned. Sit down with your family and plan well for your benefits,” Brig.
Adda urged.
Speaking at the event, Chief of Staff Land Forces in the UPDF, Brig. Loepold
Kyanda asked the retired officers to be prepared for an even harsher world
waiting ahead of them, adding that the army will always have their back.
“You are departing from the barracks and not from the UPDF family. Wherever you
go we shall follow you because the things you do affect us directly. Be good
ambassadors so that we only hear praises for the UPDF,” Kyanda urged.

In an interview with Chimpreports, 58 year old Lt. Col Francis Kemigisha said
back home he would focus on tilling the land as well as looking after his
cattle having served the army for 36 years.
“I survived a bomb blast in 1980 in Kidepo while chasing away Sudanese
fighters, which left me an injury on the head. I now look forward to returning
to my home in Mbarara and looking after my animals as well as my banana
plantation,”Lt.Col Kemigisha noted.
For 54 year old Capt. Harrison Matte from Bundibugyo, the 35 years he has spent
in the force have served to teach him lessons which he said have helped him
excel as a top marksman.
“I have learnt to always follow orders and this has been useful to me as a
shooter. I have risen to different stages until I became a consultant and
instructor at the Recruitment Training School in Kaweweeta,” Capt. Matte noted.
The function saw 629 officers at the ranks of Lieutenant Colonel, Major,
Captain and Sergeant retired from the army.
