Ssalongo Ssenoga
You know it is these comments that have stuck that country in a limbo. Have you
actually seen any Acholi or Langi complaining that what is being done in their
region is wrong? And the answer is a straight no. The ones that have stood up
are going after those making them public and threatening them with death. For
that is what they know is to murder people. Ssalongo I blocked George Okello’s
Email so I do not read what he posts, but I have got a phone call from a member
of UAH puzzled by a posting he has made stating that after the exit of
Museveni, there must be a controlled violence against Ugandans to stop
corruption. They are actually planning to murder people way before they even
smell State House. Do you know why many of our properties were looted and taken
to the North? Because all of them as a population, did not see a problem into
it. Tata trucks were entering Acholi land with our Couche , our mattress, our
stoves, refrigerators and so one and not a single Acholi ever stood up and
lament about it. Not their Chifu not their scholars, and neither their
Reverends let alone Sheiks. And do you know why? Because Acholi accepted
looting our property to be a right as a society. Let me say this too for I get
really pived with this plead of some of them are good, in so saying when we
have children castrated to bleed to death, is to become an enabler.
Ssalongo when I was growing up and when my children were growing up, we
displine them with a specific sentence, Omuganda talya nga aswankula, Omuganda
atambula na ssimbo, Omuganda tayogera na lulimi lubi. That kind of displine is
entwined in the way we were brought up but the way we have brought up our
children. I watch the language I use in the forum not because I cannot be
abusive, but because I do not want my bad character to be reflected on you as a
fellow Muganda. I do not walk abusing people on the street for I do not want
that behavior to be reflected on you Ssalongo Ssenoga as my fellow Muganda. And
by the way I do not need to know you or your family, but as long as you are a
Muganda where ever you are, it is my responsibility as a Muganda to protect
your name but respect. And that communalism that was built in Buganda by our
ancestors has protected us a great deal. Trust me if you loot people’s things
and take them to Kyaggwe, the oldies are going to go after you because Baganda
do not behave that way. When you look closely at the people with the worst
language in this forum, let alone in homes, it is people that were never
brought up educated that their actions will be reflected on others they share a
tribe with.
Let me conclude that I agree Africans and blacks have a more knowledge about
rights and privileges, so I understand when you stand up to cry for that Acholi
that has never cooked his son for dinner. But the fact remain that in real
countries where real people live, forget the African utopia, crime is built by
statistics. When Uganda passports get used by smugglers we put a red light on
Uganda passport, and every one travelling on it get checked twice. But in the
African absolute democracy that Ssenoga is running, when Uganda passports get
used in smuggling, we must target Kenya passport for there are those few good
Ugandans that have never smuggled a God damn thing. When many blacks sell drugs
and have guns on them to blow up each other, yes I understand Ssenoga wants us
to target old white Grand Mas and check their bras for guns and drugs for among
the blacks there are some good blacks without guns or drugs. Ssalongo Ssenogga,
I am challenging every Acholi in this province to kill his child and cook it on
a stove for dinner, just one. The information piled up on Acholi in these
countries you will see every agency going to Acholi families and plucking out
those kids so faster than a blinking of a firkin eye.
They will all be investigated till the satisfaction of all agencies that the
children left in homes are safe. Now you continue to plead for those few good
Acholi for that is your job, my job is to raise the children that are castrated
and left to bleed to death. Let me hope we meet somewhere in the middle
Ugandans it is very strange that we have the time to even hold Ssalongo
Ssenoga’s side of the story when very many Acholi children have been
decapitated by their very own parents. It is this kind of naivety that Ssalongo
has used which built Acholi to what they became to the rest of Ugandans.

Oh really? Then that's good! Because now I can believe and get relief from the
possibility that not all Acholi and Nuer Afrikans torch their young! Praises be
to the Afrikan gods of Nuba!

With all due respect sir, not all Afrikaans torch their own children to death,
actually Acholi and Nuers do. And all I am stating here is that we have a very
serious problem here that we should not falter by forgetting it.
These are children and by God’s grace entrusted to us by God to protect.

Friends
As some of us struggle but so hard to raise the violence of Acholi to public,
there are very many reports as well being posted about The Nuer in South Sudan.
Now let us not forget that Acholi are the cousins of The Nuer in South Sudan.
And to be put straight, Nuer are the Acholi in South Sudan. Now it is important
as well for me to state off the but that I did not write this report but it was
written by AFP just yesterday, Friday. Ugandans read this report and question
yourself if we do not need to stand up to Acholi violence but very immediately.
This is an AFP report about The Neurs the Acholi cousins. One of the most
frustrating questions that Barigye has ever asked regarding the series was “Is
this happening today?” Well Barigye this is a last Friday article. Now are
Acholi in Kitgum still cooking their children today and eating them? You and I
simply do not know so we do no have an answer to that pertinent question.
Ugandans we need to discuss Acholi violence but candidly.
UN says S. Sudan children raped, castrated, thrown into fires

.
Juba (AFP) - Warring forces in South Sudan have carried out horrific crimes
against children, including castration, rape and tying them together before
slitting their throats, the UN has said.
"Survivors report that boys have been castrated and left to bleed to death...
girls as young as eight have been gang raped and murdered," UN children's
agency chief Anthony Lake said in a statement released earlier this week.
"Children have been tied together before their attackers slit their throats...
others have been thrown into burning buildings."
Tens of thousands are believed to have been killed in the 18-month war,
although there is no clear toll. At least 129 children were killed in May in
the northern state of Unity, scene of some of heaviest fighting in the civil
war, Unicef added.
Civil war began in December 2013 when President Salva Kiir accused his former
deputy Riek Machar of planning a coup, setting off a cycle of retaliatory
killings across the country that has split the poverty-stricken, landlocked
country along ethnic lines.
It has been characterised by ethnic massacres, rape and the use of child
soldiers.

Children rush to a field demarcated for food-drops on February 24, 2015 at the
village in Nyal in So …
"The violence against children in South Sudan has reached a new level of
brutality," Lake added. Thousands of children have also been abducted to fight.
"Children are also being aggressively recruited into armed groups of both sides
on an alarming scale – an estimated 13,000 children forced to participate in a
conflict not of their making," Lake added.
"Imagine the psychological and physical effects on these children – not only of
the violence inflicted on them but also the violence they are forced to inflict
on others."
A quarter of a million children face starvation , while two-thirds of the
country's 12 million people need aid, with 4.5 million people facing severe
food insecurity, according to the UN.
"In the name of humanity and common decency this violence against the innocent
must stop," he said.
