Friends
As a back ground to this piece, one of my daughters has a very close friend
in the eastern part of the city, and her mom has been sick and in hospital
for a while, my daughter has been at the hospital a couple of times to visit
the mother of the friend. Sadly on July 4th 2016 the mother passed away, and
yesterday July 23rd 2016, I had to take my daughter for the celebration of
Betty Wayero Nasimolo, and put her to rest.
I think it is important that I take a moment to recognize the beauty of
this family, a family I saw for the very first time. Thank you for allowing
us to be a part of those that joined you in the farewell of a great mom, a
great sister, a great wife and a great friend. The hours I spent with your
family, through the tears I saw, through the great words I listened to, I
realized how valuable she was and how she will continue to be in your
hearts. To mom Perpetua my God somehow give you comfort, Jane I will
continue praying for you for strength, and Juliana I will continue praying
for you as well. Pastor Olango Museveni, thank you for everything you did to
make this farewell such a memorable one, and kindly pass a word of thanks to
Pastor Eddie Jumba for the very good words.
Let us all pray for this family for if it ever needed Gods strength, it is
now.
