It is very strange that if I raise the Acholi going to Gulu you call it
tribalism. Well let us agree that Acholi did not go to Gulu and they never over
threw a UPC government if it will make you happy, let us look at MP Jimmy Akena
and those attacking him, personally I think that calling him a UPC traitor is
very below the belt. Akena does not and will never betray UPC. UPC betrayed
itself in 1966 when it did not only fall out with Sir Edward Mutesa but also
wanted to assassinate him even though they finally poisoned him in the UK. UPC
betrayed itself again for the second time in 1971 when it fell out with Iddi
Amin who eventually outdid it. UPC betrayed itself in 1979 when itself returned
thugs to power claiming they are liberators. UPC betrayed itself in 1980 when
it rigged the elections. UPC betrayed itself in 1981 when it fell out with
Museveni who eventually when to the bush and overthrew UPC government. UPC
betrayed itself in 1985 when Okello and Okello drove Obote out of the country
for the second time. UPC betrayed itself for the last time in Nairobi in 1986
when it organized the bogus peace talks with Museveni. Considering all those
self-betrayals Akena cannot be considered a traitor other than an orphan trying
to survive in a very challenging environment where hyenas and wolves live
scavenging everything that has life and blood in it. It is only those who do
not understand the history of UPC who can label Akena as a traitor. Uganda has
not have what is called modern government since 1962. Uganda has only produced
murderers, rapists, looters and mentally deranged personalities who claim to be
leaders, visionaries and liberators. Without the humanitarian support by the
same people they fought in the name of so-called independence these thugs who
describe themselves as leaders would have been all long gone.
They should thank the international community for the welfare checks they
receive every year which help them to survive on life support.

A political party that excludes people because of tribe but not their
political views is not fit to lead a country. As a party, UPC should include
all Ugandans, not as you suggest. Acholis are as good as Baganda, Banyakole or
any tribe. However, there are some bad people in each tribe so if you are a
serious elder remove that discriminatory behavior.
If you go to China, Arabia, Russia, Italy or any country you will find
criminals in prisons serving sentences for various crimes, and to your
disappointment, you will not see any Acholi in those prisons. Back home, who
are the majority in Mbale, Kigo, Kabale, Moroto or Soroti prisons, is it the
Acholis?
If you want to have meaningful discussions with me, please don't ever smuggle
in your hate of Acholis or any tribe in the discussion because you will just
annoy me. Blame individual people but not tribes because all tribes or races
are the same.
I am not ready to participate in tribalism disguised in any form.

With all due respect sir, when Acholi drive trucks into Gulu to overthrow an
elected government, and their neighbors the Langi fail or refuse to board those
trucks, that is not a technical or operational issue sir. It is an indication
of backwardness in society, a society that has not developed to a level of
owning political parties. Acholi are just too backward to be allowed to run as
a civilized society.
As long as Acholi are in UPC, the political party is done in our country, and
the sooner we accept that the better it will become for all delusionalists out
there.

Political parties have technical and operational challenges not problems as
such UPC is no exception. Do you know any political party anywhere in the
world with no challenges?
Our challenge now is to unite the party and may be with James Akena as it's
presidential candidate or another person that the chosen at the delegates
conference, depending on many factors.
That is why I suggest by uniting all factions.

Our first move should be to unify the party. With unity the likes of James
Akena will be identified early enough to stop them from dividing the party.
Even if he is expelled by the major faction, the guy has support from saboteurs
high above!
We shall reorganize the party so that we offer Ugandans a better alternative
for delivering the needed quality services and leadership;we shall do it soon.
