The word from Pyongyang is that the North Koreas government has released
the Toronto pastor on humanitarian grounds. Hyeon Soo Lim, a pastor with the
Light Korean Presbyterian Church of Mississauga, was sentenced in December
2015 by a North Korean court to life in prison at hard labor for what it
called crimes against the state.
This is the fourth time North Korea has released prisoners under the Trump
administration.
