Users have requested that extend the FSIndex interface with the following
capabilities:
a) Get the keys used by sorted and set indexes (this is important because it
would allow the original FSIndexDescription to be recovered from a CAS)
b) Get the CAS instance that owns the FSIndex
c) Get a subindex that's restricted to a particular subtype
