I believe it's needed, because this is Docbook source,and Docbook is an XML representation having a DTD, etc. These would end up being unrecognized Docbook XML elements, causing errors, I think. -Marshall
Sorry. I did not realize this CDATA section is a Docbook XML element. I uploaded another patch with CDATA section restored. I also would like to remove the old patch, but don't know how to do this. -- Lev
