I can remove the splash screens. I don't know what mail you refer to,
I'm neither competent nor inclined to work on the splash screens.

Our tools still use the splashscreen with the IBM logo.
Also they have "Unstructured Information Management Architecture" banners, although these don't have the IBM logo so I'm not sure if this is a problem.
