CPE GUI on exit says settings have been changed even when they haven't

Open the CPE GUI. Click in one of the text fields to move the focus. Then
close the GUI. It will tell you that the parameter settings have changed and
ask if you want to save the CPE descriptor. It seems that even moving the
focus is enough to cause the GUI to be marked dirty.
