I got the same message, but it still worked for me. I use Eclipse 3.3. Also in the Apache Jira setup, I replaced http with https. I did manage to cause NPEs though with one query. The whole thing doesn't seem to be completely stable yet. Also, it doesn't retrieve UIMA committers from Jira, so it can't do auto-completion. All in all, it seems to be very much in beta. It looks nice though and could become useful.
