We still don't understand what you mean by "search the same who in
multiple files."  Do you mean that you want to have some sort of search
engine capability over the files? Do you mean that you simply want to
process many files and get annotated results for each of them? Do you
mean that you want to view the annotated results from many files at the
same time?

Go to http://incubator.apache.org/uima/downloads.html to get uimaj 2.2
and go through the documentation there.
