I'm not sure... On Jira - I did a "find" for UIMA issues reported by "joern" and got 57 matching issues where the reporter is listed as " Jörn Kottmann".
I looked at that user id (by clicking on it) and it said *Username:* joern *Full Name:* Jörn Kottmann *Email:* kottmann at gmail dot com *Groups:* jira-users So - It would seem you don't have to change the reporter of the issue?
