I don't think so, but I'm not the expert.  Each pear is supposed to be an 
encapsulated component that doesn't see the datapath of its neighbors.  We 
certainly need the individual class loaders.  If they're tied in with the 
resource manager, then that's another reason we need a new resource manager for 
each pear.

We may have to wait for Michael to come back from vacation...
