Folks, I spent some more time on this, trying to straighten out the legal
stuff. Unfortunately, it looks like JRuby is an assembly of variously licensed
open source components without proper attribution or licensing information in
the JRuby distribution. Just for example, the attribution and license required
by the ASM distribution is missing. We can't put this in our SVN, nor do we
want to distribute it.
So what are our options? Leave it out and tell people where to get it and how
to install it would be my suggestion. Olivier, what do you think?
I've checked the other 3rd party components, they seem to be in order.
