I added a vote for this to get fixed. In the project I'm working on now we're
storing all our descriptors on the classpath, in packages. It's terribly
tedious to have to expand every folder in the package individually when making
an import by name. And we intend to move to using more jar packaging of
components, at which point not being able to pick descriptors in jar files will
reduce us to having to edit the XML directly.
