Idea for Outline view

My suggestion for the outline view would be to borrow from Knowtator. In
Knowtator, the annotation schema is displayed as a tree structure displaying
the name of each type in a hierarchy. Each node in the tree displays the name
of the type followed by a number corresponding to the number of annotations in
that document of that type. When you click on a node in the tree it provides
you a context sensitive menu that gives you an option to create a new
annotation for the currently highlighted text (if any) followed by options for
selecting the annotations of that type (one menu item per annotation).
