there is now a new project CasEditorEclipsePlugin in the sandbox which
contains the editing part of the CasEditor.
I tried to fix all issues which where caused directly by the split,
now it is possible to start the CasEditor with
the new plugin. There are some more issues for which I will create
jira issues like the build.
Next items on my todo list is the creation of an UIMA Development
Plugin which can provide the Cas Editor
plugin with a type system to open the CAS file. I plan to reuse the
code from the Cas Viewer for this.
Then it is possible to use the Cas Editor directly from eclipse.
Later we extend this plugin with other functionality which is valuable
during the development of UIMA AEs
e.g. launch support.
