The Assembly steps have specified that the resulting assemblies are not to be uploaded to the maven repos (by saying to *not* attach the assemblies to the output artifact).
This causes maven (apparently) to issue a WARNING message: Assembly file: C:\UIMA\WorkspaceUima\uimaj-distr\target\uimaj-2.3.0-incubating-src.tar.gz is not a regular file (it may be a directory). It cannot be attached to the project build for installation or deployment. You can safely ignore this message. If anyone knows how to suppress it, please let me know :-) ------------- The project uima-as-osgi-runtime always shows *Errors* in Eclipse, but builds OK with Maven. I think it best to not include this project in your Eclipse workspace. -Marshall
