So it should have run twice as fast, or 4.6 seconds, not 7. Unless it's waiting on disk I/O. I think the test is too small to make any conclusions. Can you eliminate or minimize the disk I/O and also greatly increase the number of annotations created? I'm doing some profiling using the Eclipse TPTP tools, so I'll see what I can find in my system. Greg Holmberg
