can we place multiple inputs in input like word,excel and image

HI
    my question here is  can we make the search engine to search the files
in the input dynamically.i do have problem when i developed uima as web i
have put the multiple files in input but it searching in the starting file
only.so how can we make engine to search it.
 is there any  solution for it.i hope some one  will answer this
