Hi,
I can reproduce the issue. I think Java is not very
good at substituting other fonts if some characters
can't be displayed in the selected font. I think the
only way to fix this is to add an option to CVD to
change the font, so you can explicitly switch the font
to something that will display your text. I will open
a Jira issue.
For now, what you can try to do is to use the
DocumentAnalyzer instead. The DocumentAnalyzer will
allow you to view the analysis results in the browser,
and the browser should be smart enough to render your
Telugu script. Hope this helps.
