Hi Mirko,

there is an alphaworks project available, which ported UIMA to OSGi.

I know of the project. I have seen it has some very fine video tutorials.
I will certainly have another look at it in the future. I had hoped in
the course the development of UDAT there might already be more UIMA
OSGi infrastructure.

My focus yesterday however was mainly in Maven integration and fighting
with the Maven Bundle Plugin. Having an OSGi-enabled Maven repository
would have been helpful. For now I gave up and revert to not using Maven
because I didn't really manage to build my projects at the same time
using Maven and Eclipse.

A maven repository, containing any of those artifacts doesn't exist,
as far as I know of. At the time we were working on the subject, no
one seemed to be interested in OSGi. I wonder if things have changed
now and we were just to early :-)

Spring is working on OSGi integration and I have recently read a few
articles about OSGi and Spring getting ever more popular in enterprises.
So I guess the chances are good we are just early ;)
