Hi UKNOF, I know that people continue to experience problems using address space from newly allocated /8s.
I'm hoping to raise awareness in the enterprise network manager community that they need to review and maintain their bogon lists, rather than fire and forget them. As part of this I am interested in what reporters would call human interest aspects of stories associated with people unable to use services because the other network blocked access to the suer's recently allocated address space. For instance, if a user was unable to use on-line banking, on-line shopping, or an e-government service for filing taxes because of their 'new' IP address then that would be a useful story to me. It's possible that your customer support helpdesks have stories along these lines. If you could contact me off list with examples of this kind of story I'd be grateful. Thanks, Leo
