Hi all, With so many to chose from in the Manchester and London areas what do you look for when opening a PoP?
* Customer demand? * Strategic placement? * Carrier list? * Power? So many are so close with all the "data centre" specs that I'm unsure how others select from all the Telehouse N/E/W, Telecity Group, Equinix ones and others. THN is still the most dense for suppliers, but from a start up point of view.... If you just take the LINX list of PoP's or say Goscomb: LINX: * Telehouse North * Telehouse East * Telehouse West * TelecityGroup, 6&7 Harbour Exchange * TelecityGroup, 8&9 Harbour Exchange * TelecityGroup, Bonnington House * TelecityGroup, Sovereign House * TelecityGroup, Powergate * InterXion London city * Equinix, London-4 Goscomb: * Telehouse East * Telehouse North * Telehouse West * Telecity Sovereign House * Telecity Meridian Gate * Telecity HEX67 * Telecity HEX89 * Global Switch 1 * Global Switch 2 * London Hosting Centre * QiComm Tutis Point * Bluesquare Maidenhead * City Lifeline * LDeX1 The commons ones I see are the Telehouse ones, Sovereign House and Equinix.
