We use SmartOptics for DWDM (10/40/70km) and have found them to be highly reliable (they even burned an abbreviation of the colour of the optic into the firmware for us so that it shows up in a 'show chassis hardware')
Do your testing thoroughly though. Even amongst Juniper supplied optics we've found they are not all born equal. For example Finnisar(Juniper supplied) work fine in MX's but Sumitomo(Juniper) don't work. In fairness to Juniper they do differentiate between EX and MX (both SR) optics, but it's kinda difficult to remember when your in a datracentre full of mixed hardware.
