Robin,

We’re all patiently waiting for a 10G version of the EAD which would be perfect
for FibreChannel Ethernet, however in the meantime you’re left with the OSA and
the older WES product (which you can still buy in 2.5G and 10G form). The OSA
has huge install fees, and the WES has equally huge rental fees - but they’re
much of a muchness in terms of cost. The main benefit is of course an OSA can
have additional wavelengths added in future at a comparatively low cost.

Cheers,

Charlie.

Is anyone aware of an Openreach product that will support FibreChannel? Is OSA
the only way?

Thanks,
Robin.
