In response to feedback, DataCentred have added an iPad Mini 32Gb so you can take your pick if you choose to visit their MediaCity facility to see if your code will open the rack. Finally, some words from the UKNOF27 Platinum Host Sponsor, Gamma, and Gold Sponsors, F5 and Imtech ICT ----------8<----------8<----------8<----------8<----------8<---------- [ GAMMA ] Gamma would like to thank all those that helped make UKNOF27 the best ever, our team certainly took pleasure in being there and we would like to thank the organising team for all of their hard work. If you have any questions about Gamma or The Loop then please email us at [email protected] and one of the team will be happy to help. The Loop is an independent 80Km+ metropolitan fibre network serving the Private and Public sector in Greater Manchester. As part of the Gamma Telecom Group it is backed by a 24x7 managed service from the National Operations Centre on Trafford Park. Connected to most of the key datacentres in Manchester, the Loop has already been selected by a number of local market leaders and authorities to deliver Ethernet circuits and private point to point networks and is helping to provide the infrastructure that will make Manchester a top 20 global Digital City. [ F5 ] We hope you enjoyed the F5 presentation around the challenges that many of you and your customers are facing from the threats that are so prevalent in particular around DDoS attacks at both the network and application layer. Efficiently mitigating against these attacks is among the many challenges faced by today’s organisations, managing security and access whilst maintaining capacity and performance are usually mutually exclusive, F5's heritage for a high performance architecture addresses these issues by providing a very predictable, secure platform built around an operating system that has been designed to grow and evolve with the applications and infrastructure. Whether it be automating integration of applications and virtualised servers, securing applications as they move around the data center or tiering to the cloud through both private and public offerings; F5 can help. [ IMTECH ICT ] We would like to thank all the recent attendees at UKNOF27. The level of turnout for a meeting outside of the capital exceeded all our expectations, and made for an exciting event. To the many of you who spoke to our staff or visited our stand, we thank you for your interest. To those who didn't get the chance, we can be contacted through any of the following: Email: [email protected] Telephone: 01256 312350 Facebook: Imtech ICT UK Twitter: ImtechICTUK ----------8<----------8<----------8<----------8<----------8<---------- We look forward to seeing you in Reading on 24 April for UKNOF28: http://indico.uknof.org.uk/event/uknof28 Kind regards, Denesh Bhabuta UKNOF Event Manager
