Hi, Next September, we’re holding a conference in Southampton on legal issues affecting Internet intermediaries. In particular the impact of increasing levels of legislation on ISP operation - what is the right balance, and how can it best be achieved?
Hosted by our Law dept, we have a range of speakers already lined up from the legal side - we’re obviously also very interested in attracting some speakers/participants from the ISP industry. If anyone is interested in the event, especially in putting forward the perspective of a small (or even a large) ISP, please feel free to get in touch. In principle, it’s a very good opportunity for those setting law to talk directly to those impacted by it. There’s initial information up here, including a call for papers/presentations: http://www.southampton.ac.uk/ilaws/news/events/2015/09/17_first_iclic_conference.page? <http://www.southampton.ac.uk/ilaws/news/events/2015/09/17_first_iclic_conference.page?> The main day of the event is the day after UKNOF32. Thanks, Tim
