hi charl, mlevy has given you some good advice. in addition, here are some things you'll want to keep in mind: * there's a NOG-type list here [1]. it's less active than uknof, but still has folks from multiple operators listening in. it might be a good place for you to ask as well (or get experiences from others) * i generally recommend that if you're looking for an operator, you pick one that's an ISPA member. simple reason really; ISPA members has a self-regulating, self-imposed, binding code of conduct [2] that all members are required to adhere to. this means (amongst others) that you, as a outsider/individual/blah, have someone else to complain to, that will act on your behalf (without necessarily running to a lawyer) if you run into an issue with an operator that's an ISPA member. most ZA based ISPs are ISPA members, with the notably exception being the ex-incumbent. a list is available online [3].
