Dear colleagues

UKNOF30 took place in London on Thursday 22 January, and we would
like to thank everyone who helped make it a great success.

We are pleased to say this was our biggest and most vibrant meeting so
far - close to 300 registrations, 70 participating via the live the webcast
and a similar number on the irc channel. Lots of great content from the
various speakers with a last minute addition to the agenda on the day
- An Introduction to the National Crime Agency’s Cyber Crime Unit.

It was nice to see attendees in the room from Belgium, France,
Germany, Ireland, Netherlands, UK and USA, with 40% attending a
UKNOF meeting for the first time.

distance to the venue, include breakfast. These are flexible rates (i.e.,

Each hotel does have limited availability, and a limited timeframe

Cisco were delighted to be a sponsor at UKNOF30 and to meet the
delegates. We hope the Cisco presentations were interesting for you.

Thanks to Cisco’s Evolved Programmable Network we provide the basis
for innovative capabilities across the cloud to the core, the edge, and the
customer premises. The Evolved Programmable Network solutions are
part of the infrastructure layer consisting of physical and virtual devices
working together to form an end-to-end unified fabric for a programmable
network. Based on the Cisco Open Network Environment (ONE)
architecture for service providers, these solutions open the network to the
opportunities presented by software defined networking (SDN) and
Network Function Virtualization (NFV).

This enables service providers to transform the experience, transform the
business and transform the architecture with cloud-based capabilities.
Service providers with Cisco Evolved Programmable Network have more
options to increase revenue, decrease operating expenses and enhance
agility.
