I stayed at the Aloft whilst working at Loncon 3 (Worldcon 72) last year. The hotel is excellent, the rooms themselves are very good with good facilities. The only negative I would give is that whilst there are large numbers of people attending an event at the ExCel, their onsite restaurant cannot cope with the large numbers of people at breakfast. The only offset to that is that there is a small shop just off reception, that takes the same breakfast vouchers, but the selection can be a little "meh" at times.
