Good. The whole dysfunctional quasi-monopoly that BT is should be flung
in the sea. Far, far into the sea where it can't get its parasitic
tendrils into more BDUK money.
I don't know what we would replace it with, but it would start with
getting rid of the government's artificial sweetner to BT (fibre tax)
and involve a lot of fresh holes in the pavement. And the only copper
would be in the power cables.
