Dear colleagues
We have just 8 weeks remaining until UKNOF32 at the Holiday Inn
Sheffield Victoria on 16 & 17 September. Yes, we are returning to
Sheffield - the first time since 2009 and we are ready and raring to
go!
Here are some details - note that there are a few changes during
the week - and reminder of some important dates before we head
off into summer holidays.
We are once again happy to see UKNOF's September meetings
used as a catalyst for complementary events from other
organisations being held in the same week, and we are pleased
to announce that UK & Ireland Peering Forum will co-locate their
debut meeting with UKNOF32.
Further to this, UKNOF is holding its first Professional Training
Course, and the AGMs for UKNOF and LONAP will also be taking
place in the same week.
Registrations are going extremely well, with over 100 people
currently registered, with 22% registered as first-time attendees.
This will definitely be our biggest meeting in Sheffield. We are
hoping to have the agenda published in early August.
Please note that although we webcast and record the presentations,
we do sometimes receive requests not to record or webcast a
particular presentation. If you are interested in all the presentations
at UKNOF32 and UK & Ireland Peering Forum, then please attend
in person.
If any of your colleagues/customers would be interested in attending
UKNOF and/or UK & Ireland Peering Forum, please pass this email
on to them.
[[ MEETING REGISTRATION DEADLINES ]] - Tuesday 1 September
To help us with meeting logistics, please register for the meeting as
soon as possible.
Early Bird (Free) Registrations are open until 11.59pm BST on
1 September (two weeks before the meeting) at:
http://uknof.uk/register32
Registrations after this are on a paid basis at a cost of:
£126.65 (£100 + VAT + Eventbrite fee) for non-Patrons, and
£63.65 (£50 + VAT + Eventbrite fee) for Patrons via discount code.
Please note, if you are from a sponsor or potential sponsor
organisation, please email [email protected] for your registration
instead of registering via the above link.
Registrations are non-transferrable (except between delegates from
Patron organisations and Advisory Committee organisations)
[[ ACCOMMODATION BOOKING DEADLINE ]] - Sunday 16 August
We have managed to secure rooms at various hotels (including the
conference venue) at negotiated rates for UKNOF32 delegates.
These are all within short walking distance to the venue and include
breakfast. These are flexible rates (i.e., cancellations are allowed
prior to arrival in case your plans change).
Each hotel does have limited availability, and a limited timeframe
within which the rates are available, so it would be prudent to book
early.
Further details are at:
http://uknof.uk/accommodation32
The negotiated rates start at £62 for Double/Twin rooms with single
occupancy, include breakfast and VAT and bookings are flexible
(ie, may be cancelled closer to the arrival date - no payment
processed on booking, although your card details will be required to
place the reservation).
Negotiated rates are available until Sunday 16 August, after which
their standard rates will apply.
[[ CALL FOR PRESENTATIONS DEADLINE ]] - Friday 24 July
